My Swim Story.

I spent my childhood summers on my local swim team and swimming in the many lakes near my home in the midwest. My competitive swimming career ended when I graduated high school but my passion for being in the water will stick with me throughout my life. I had the opportunity to spend the Summer of 2021 working as an Industrial Design Intern at Finis in Livermore California. This job was a fun and exciting blend of my passion for swimming and my career in design work. It introduced me to design's perspective and influence within of the Sports Industry.

Who is Finis?

Located in the heart of the Bay Area, Finis specializes in all things swimming. They have a large inventory of products that range from technical training gear to kids pool toys and everything in-between. Finis exists to help every person in the world enjoy the water.

Animal Heads

Animal Heads are silicone swim caps with fun ears or fins that extend from the top of the cap and will turn any kid into an adorable water-loving creature. Existing characters are seen on the right.

The Brief.

Expand one of Finis's best selling products, the kids Animal Heads Swim caps, to encompass new characters and colors that will refresh consumer excitement in the product.
